Every student athlete must complete an IHSAA physical, and have it filed with the school. If a physical is not on file by the beginning of the athletic season, the athlete will not be permitted to participate in that sport. Rivet High School will facilitate doctors to come to the school to complete physicals during one academic school day.

Rivet High School is responsible for the location and wellbeing of every athlete during an athletics contest. In order to  safely release an athlete to be transported not by school means, the athlete must fill out a Contest Travel Release form and give it to the school before the day of the contest. This includes all signatures required.
